new computer hardware?

Ive been away for a bit ..with personal stuff ..and hvae caught the fever to build a partially new machine.

Seems the new intel quadcore 3ghz processor is a beast ...

I have no idea as to the motherboard though heh ... I tend to stick with Asus ..but now there are so many brands ...

SO ... here it is ... I already have 2 8800gtx's and 4 raptors ...a galaxy 1000 powersupply...

What ram and mobo would be agood bet? Or is it even worth upgrading a computer at this time.

Current processor is amd fx60 w/ 4 gigs of mushkin redline.
