Can anyone tell me how to network a Windows XP desktop and an Apple iBook? I need the PC to connect to the Internet, which I already have set up. I also need the iBook to connect to the PC for it's Internet access. Please help quickly!!! I need to know how right now!!! Thanks.

You should set up the Mac just like a Windows client, just use the IP address of the server as the gateway, and give the Mac an IP in the same subnet as the server,

If you're running OSX, follow this procedure to enable Samba for windows file sharing:

Classic MacOS does not support direct file sharing with Windows. j79zlr's method only turns on TCP/IP Routing (allowing internet access), but in no way allows LAN file sharing with windows. You would need a program such as PCMacLAN to share files to a MacOS 9 or older.
