Just wondered if anyone knew if it was possible to network 2 PCs together using USB and if so, how?

Yep its possible, just get one of these:

http://www.everythingusb.com/hardware/index/Belkin_USB_Direct_Connect_Adapter.htm

or something similar. It's not as fast as ethernet, but it will work.

Hope this helps!

Thanks for the reply. I suppose this will do. I was hoping that there might be a way of directly connecting the PCs in the same way that you can connect PC's using a null modem cable.

Or you could even save some money and increase your speed if you don't mind opening up your computers.

Newegg.com has D-Link 10/100 Ethernet Cards for $9 each. Just get two of those and a crossover cable ($4) and you can go @ 100mpbs for $22.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
