Networking ahhhh

can u network a win xp with a mac using OSx. if it is possible can u tell me or point me towards some web sites that can help me. thank u in advance.

Depends on what you mean with "networking". If you want to share Internet it's easy as pie. If you want to share files it's trickier.

Wohaa! That looked easy enough! :)
I suppose since they run "Unix" they just stuck Samba in there...
I heard they're perhaps releasing MacOS X for the x86. Should be interesting...

if you want to share files i belive you will need a second machine running win2k server with the appletalk protocol installed.

You can get Darwin (the OS X kernel) for x86. You will not have the Aqua GUI. Full flegged OS X will not be released for x86. It is heavily built around RISC. Would mean recompiling the OS along with all software that runs on it. It is also very reliant on the Velocity engine which is only on PowerPC processors.
