Network Speed

Is there anyway I can speed up my network, or at least my internet connection?! I have 2 computers on a home network, and one seems to take over the connection from the other computer. I thought cable, which is what I use, can run faster even with more than one computer using it? I normally get around 100, but now the other computer gets around 105 and now I get only 65 on average.

I'm not a expert, but i do know that you only get so much bandwith from your (cabel)provider, so 2 pc's have to share that bandwith. That's kind of 'the bad thing' of (cabel)connections.

You could check this site for some tweaks: http://www.speedguide.net

That's kind of 'the bad thing' with sharing any connection of any kind and anywhere. That's the whole idea of 'sharing'.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
