ive got a big problem, when i connect my laptop (compaq armada m700) to a LAN it sometimes says "a network cable is disconnected" but when i pull it out, then at first it makes an annoying sound and says the same thing. but when im at home there is no problem.

the networks dosent differs from wich i have at home.

so, the cable is connected and the connectors is OK but all traffic just stops and the poput ballon says "a network cable is disconnected"

anyone got the same problem?

You might ask a mod to move this to networking... you will probably get more help there.

Are you using a patch cable to hook into the LAN's that you bring along yourself? Sounds like it could be a bad cable/connector.

Ep, glad to see you come back and tidy up...did want to ask a one day favor, I want to enhance my resume , was hoping you could make me administrator for a day, if so, take me right off since I won't be here to do anything, and don't know the slightest about the board, but it would be nice putting "served administrator osnn", if can do, THANKS

Been running around Quora lately, luv it there https://tinyurl.com/ycpxl
