Network Printer XP/98se

I have an HP Deskjet connected to the server which is running XP home edition, the notebook is running windows 98se, when trying to load a network printer onto my notebook using a wireless network system it wants drivers. Why isn't the notebook finding the server printer using add printer / network printer? Do I have to download windows 98 printer drivers and install them on the server?

This may be a stupid question, but are you sure the printer is shared? another thing is that the 98 computer needs to be logged onto with an account that has exists to the XP home computer.
