HI All

Little question, me and my friend have tryed for some hours now without any luck, we want to set up an small home network connection, we both have zone alarm installed, and added both ip adresses on each off our machines, and we have used the network connection wizard, with flobby disk and all that stuff, is the a generel way or procedure to do this or any good tips........

If you have a firewall, make sure you configure it so that the IP address of the PCs is local, or ' friendly'. Otherwise you'll only see the PC name on the network, you won't be able to access the folder, even if the folder is shared.

To share a folder, right-click on the folder name in Windows Exporer and select ' shared ', file and printer sharing has to be installed to do this.
