shat. my cable speeds are crap. i dont know if gAyT&T cant get their crap together or what. maybe its just my network card.

what brand would you recommend? i was thinking of netgear but i dunno if they are all the same or what?

have you gone here and checked your rwin and mtu settings?

click on tools, then tweak test...if you need to change it because it's out of range, just download and run drtcp. reboot, then check your speed again.

i'd start there first.
