hy
i installed this protocol on an xp pro+sp1 on an k7/512m ram machine, lan onboard, and is not working
i've done the same thing on an p3/256m ram, lan pci, and is working fine
is someone to tell me what ... is happening?

i have the same problem. xp and 2k don't like netbeui all that much. try uninstalling it. REBOOT. reinstalling it. REBOOT. usually works for me.

I use it coz TCP/IP can't handle masive traffic like netbeui.
My lan need this protocol.

try installing XP's NetBeui Driver on Win2000.

i also used the inf from a w2k server with the same results ... i think it's usless to keep trying ... tks to all, bye

I think I saw something about NETbeui on the XP (Pro) installation disk in one of the other folders (not i386). I'm at work therefore do not have my XP disk with me to check.

Maybe theres something that will help there...

you're right, it exists but ... it doesen't work ... thats it.
i am going to take rc1 of windows.net and, who knows, maybe i could use that inf.
