Nero, CD-RWs and VCDs

Hi There...

I've got an 8x4x32 CD-RW, and I've just noticed that Nero (5.5.8.0) is only allowing me to write a VCD to a CD-RW at 2x.

So, anyone know why it's restricted to 2x?

Is VCD writing restricted to 2x?

Is my CD-RW writing limited to 2x?

Is something wrong?

I need to know, as the new box of CD-RWs I currently have are 4x-10x only. I've only got a single CD-RW which supports 2x writing.

Hope someone can help!

Just the demo version. I suppose it could be a restriction imposed by the demo?

Just curious - I'll be moving this drive onto a second machine once I start buying some new parts, so I wondered what the problem was.

My nice new 40x12x48 drive should be here in a few days ;)

I'm not sure if nero restricts demo software but it could be that your current drive is not fully supported. Might be a good idea to boogie on over to their web site and look around.
