Nero 6 and updates

Is anybody having problems with nero 6,downloaded my copy off a secure web site,put the updates posted on the nero site last week.The software refuses to work ,hangs,loops or just won't work.
Im running Xp Pro,Amd Athlon 2500,512mb PC 2700 DDR Ram so i should have no probs.
Have taken the whole thing off and gone back to Roxio.
Could Nero have put dodgy updates up because of the leaked web version?

Mine runs perfectly well and it's from the Ahead website along with the updates. Only gripe I've got is. when burning audio, it won't let me enter fractions of seconds for the gaps between tracks i.e it won't recognise the decimal point key and only allows integers.----Problem solved there - just use 'frames' (75 frames = 1 second) Duuuh.

nah the nero 6 updates are working ok with me.

pauli did you del the old 5.5 ver before you ran the 6.0 heard it will give you issues if you just do an update.
