Nero 5.5

I use Nero 5.5 on XP Pro, the problem is, when burning either music or data about half way through the process I get an error message stating that "nero has encountered a fault & will have close" I have done the unstall reinstall thingy but the problem still persists, any one any ideas what the problem is.

Have you looked in event viewer for any clues.

are you running at least version 5.5.7.2 it runs on xp without any problems at least havent had any........ive heard some earlier ones have...
