Need Help Deleting History

IVE CLICKED ON THE CLEAR HISTORY THING ON TOOLS THEN INTERNET OPTIONS BUT STILL THE HISTORY THERES
TRYED HISTORY KILL SOFTWARE WIV NO LUCK
DUNNO WAT ELSE TO TRY
PLEASE HELP SOME ONE

1) I hope your friggin caps lock key is broken
2) Just delete the Temporary Internet folder manually

if i reinstalled explorer 6 would it delete it
if so how do i reinstall explorer 6 on windows Xp

Try booting to XP cd and doing a repair install.

also, there are alot of proggies out there that will clean out your internet history, temp files etc. I've been using Ashampoo WinOptimizer Suite. Seems to do it nicely and has a bunch of different tools (reg cleaner, drive cleaner etc). The demo works fine, only lets you delete 33% of files at a time though.

tried loads of software now but still wiv no luck
it shows the sites wen i write something in the address bar so if i write www,a......... it will show a list of sites which ive viewed starting wiv www,a...
how do i get rid of this cause the software ive tried dont delete it

Try this...

Right Click IE on the desktop and choose properties.

Select the content tab

Click the AutoComplete button

Click 'Clear Forms' and 'Clear Passwords' button

I'm guessing but i reckon that'll do the job!!!

maybe a little porno-porn! but that's really werid why your temp. files wouldn't delete. but clearing your history and temp files, as well as the auto complete should pretty much fix things. oh, but if you happened to download any vidoes, make sure you check the, um, its either "my music" or "my videos" folder and delete them. i was freeing up some drive space the other day and there were, um, shall we say multiple files that i didn't know where there, that, say, if some one found that wasn't a friend, say, a parent, youth minister, pastor, or potential girlfriend, it would not have boded well.

i think its just that wen it shows me a big list of all the website which have visited the list is huge and it annoys me because i cant get rid of it

Hey buddy I was just kidden about the porn 😀. I know it sucks when the temp file takes up all the harddrive space etc. Not to sure how to help ya. Sorry!

the websites which are coming up and sites which i visited ages ago so i dunno whether for some reason they have locked up and wouldnt delete
could someone let me know how to reinstall internet explorer 6 as ive heard that its not easy
if i reinstall it they mite dissapear so its worth a try
