need app to edit midi files

no go...I need something much simpler...just to cut parts out of the midis...I need to shorten them so I can fit them on my new phone

dunno about that, why not try your manufacturers website see if they have software.

they don't...they just have stuff to compose ringers, or add them to your phoen but not edit...going to try psmplayer 5.0 and see how that goes

I was talking to a friend who knows about suchlike last night - he mentioned Cakewalk - so you may care to google on that

I doubt he wants to pay for any Cakewalk product, or any "pro" midi sequencers for that matter.

I am trying to find a program to do the same thing. - cut midi files down smaller to go on my cell phone. I have tried quite a few programs like anvil studios but I can't seem to figure out how to cut and save sections out of a song. I just want something simple. Thanks
