need a capture card..

HI peeps im looking for a capture card to work on my new laptop..so it must be a usb one.
I have a few family party videos that i would like to put onto vcds..so what will the quality be like etc...will it be poor or good...if you can recomend any good usb capture cards that will wrk with my laptop that will be appreciated:gabby:

Also where should i look...im from the uk..

they have today only specials which are really good and cheap


or you could even try e-bay .. ive grabbed tons of good deals from there

Something you might want to consider is there are a couple of usb devices for capturing video, I know D-Link makes one and if you go to www.pricewatch.com and look for video capture you can probably find some others.
