I have searched the MS Data base and came up blank.
I leave my computer up most or all the time but as of late i have been going to my computer only to find that it is in a frozen state
What Joy.
I have to shut it down with the reset but being the on off switch doent even work at this point.
XP is the best of MS, I put it before any other. It has its quarks but its manageable.
I am Thank full of any help you can give me

Is this problem unique? I seem to find the weird problems that no one has ever heard of before. Im good at that kind of stuff. I am still hopefull that some one might know how to fix this problem.
I you need more info let me know and i will post.

The problem is not unique. The following taken from accelenation.com

What is happening is that when "bad" drivers are installed, or an app crashes the system, it creates a "minidump". Sometimes, these minidumps are not cleaned off the system at the next reboot. So what happens is System Restore detects that a minidump was created and stops creating System Restore points and alerts the OS about the problem. Hence the error message. The quick fix as I have seen is:
Right click "My Computer" and select Properties.
Click on the System Restore tab at the top.
Check the box labeled "Turn off System Restore".
Click Apply, then OK.
Then restart the system.
Then go back into that same screen, and uncheck that box.
Restart the system.
No more error message! :)
Hope this helps...

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
