i have system works 2002 and when i start up nav is disabled. but when i try to enable it it doesnt work and when i go to the options for nav and try to enable it there it has an error message about a script.

It's an internet explorer issue. Open IE/tools/internet options/advanced. Look for script debugging & disable it.

Thats not a debug prompt thats actually a error with the processing of the script.

Its a knowen issue with NAV 2002.

Symantec's fix doesn't work on all machines, unfortunately. I called them for advice and they even admitted that.

The disabled NAV problem was intermittent, but annoying enough for me to purchase Systemworks 2003 (at a 30% discount since I was a disgruntled customer) and gave the 2002 CD to my ferrets to drag around the floor.
