Im trying to copy movies from one comp (win XP) to another (win2k) over a home network. Im getting this error right after the download starts going for a while:

"Cannot copy The Sopranos S3 : The specified network name is no longer available"

...and it disconnects.

wtt is going on here? I have guest accounts enabled on both comps, shared both the folders... Both comps can browse the other, I've also tried sending/recieving the files from both comps, with the same result.

I've also tried XP box to XP box, with the same result.

plz help network gurus!

can anyone tell me what is going on here?

my home network works fine, yet this wierd error consistently occurs on my friends network

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?

Impressed you have kept this alive this long EP! So many sites have come and gone. :(

Just did some crude math and I apparently joined almost 18yrs ago, how is that possible???
