Go see it. Especially if you are into dramas or mob films. I'm not going to do a standard review on the film because I don't want to spoil it with plot details. I will say these things though... Clint Eastwood knows how to direct films, the performances are absolutely outstanding, and the film is INTENSE.

Okay, I saw it and I really liked it. I agree the acting was wonderful and the movie was intense. I'm a little confused with the ending though....maybe I'm reading too much into it. I give it 4.5/5 NTFS stars.

This movie comes out on DVD tomorrow (6/08) here in the US. It's being released in the normal WS and FS versions, as well as a special 3-disc edition. I highly recommend buying it, or renting it if you never saw it in the theater. The movie ended up winning 2 Oscars, Best Actor Sean Penn and Best Supporting Actor Tim Robbins, which is pretty impressive considering that LoTR took almost everything else.
