I guess it all depends on context. "Cover your ass" is representative of your name, and most people (I think) know what CYA means anyway. But if you said something along the lines of "Hey, MdSalih, Jewelzz, Electronic Punk, and Waddy, eat my ass!", it could be construed as an unacceptable misuse of the word.
