My Quick Launch Toolbar Disappears at Reboot

I wonder if anybody can tell me how to get windows xp to leave the quicklaunch toolbar on my taskbar.....LOL Well, any toolbar for that matter. I can tell it to "show quick launch" and it shows it, but then reboot and i have to do the same thing again. It's got me kinda ticked off cause i use the QL toolbar more than my start menu.

Yes.....But anyway i just reinstalled windows and fixed it....
