I throw a ball at my cat and he'll go after it and bring it back. He's got a little stuffed football (american football) that he always plays with. But I prefer to throw mice at him. Lots more fun. Hmmm... Maybe that's why he luvs that football sooo much, because Mickey Mouse is on it. :laugh:

had to take riley back to the vet this morning. poor guy was coughing all night and heaving out foamy stuff with a few specs of blood in it (twice).. im hopeing its just kenel cough. But we will see.

A friend of mine had rat poison laying around the garage, and a neighbors cat walked in and ate it... luckly the cat had its stomach pumped and was saved ($285 CDN).

i figured id update this with a final price tag on free dog ownership as of today i have spent 3000 dollars on Riley. This includes the ordeal and nutering... Let this be a lesson too you guys who think a free dog is a good idea if you become very attached to things. As for me he is the best thing short of my girl that has evenr happend to me.

I agree with hidden costs, I got my cat from the MSPCA (animal shelter) for free, but had to pay about 600 bucks or so for vet visits and shots initially.
