When I'm hearing music and the power saving turn the monitor off the music turn off as well. That because that the speakers connected to the monitor. Currently the power of the monitor is connected to the PC.
If I will buy a cable that connect the monitor directly to the power, is that should fix
the problem and will allow me to hear the music after the monitor turn off?

Thanks,:)

Really depends on your monitor, but would make sense that power saving mode would do such a thing.

I know what you mean - had a lead like that once that allowed you to plug the kettle lead into the mains feeding your PC socket, kinda like a splitter so that the monitor and computer only need one plug to take up one socket between them...

If I got that right - then getting a separate power lead for your monitor is not going to change anything. What you need is to connect the speakers signal lead directly to the computers sound output socket, rather than via your monitor. Then the power saving mode should make no difference.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
