Hi Guys,

One of my clients is in a local band. They want to start recording their own music onto cd. They have come to me for a proper computer setup that they can hook their musical instruments upto this computer.

I am at a loss as to what would be a proper setup/soundcard for this setup.

Any ideas would be great.

Thanks in advance,

Heeter

as far as the sound card goes i recomend the x-fi. you would need the elite but it will sound amazing.

Thanks, Bud.

X-FI elite. Will check it out. Thanks.

Does their gear hook up directly to it, or does it need more parts between the gear and the soundcard?

Thanks,

Heeter

DO NOT GET A CREATIVE CARD (if they want to record)

THere's alot of ways to go depending on budget and what they want to be able to do with it.

Here's what I just built:

AMD 3200 Venice
MSI Neo4 mobo
2 Samsung 250 gb hdd
NEC 4551 dvdrw
BenQ 1650 dvdrw
M-Audio Delta 1010 audio card

Software is where it will get pricey

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
