I have XP on a laptop and I travel a lot. is there a way i can make xp recognize multiple networks, like one for home, one for work, one for college campus. sort of just plug the cable in and be online with out having to change any settings.

Windows does not have automatic settings changes. You will have to do them manually. XP does not require a reboot to change IP, DNS, Default Gateway, etc. But Workgroup/domain changes still need a reboot. If you do not want to enter the values manually, you need a 3rd party program, like this one:

Its shareware, 20-day trial, but the registration is ony $36. If you move around often, it would probably be worth the $36.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
