Isn't MTV Copyrighted ???

Forum Guidelines

Do not post copyrighted material such as retail software, visual themes or other software that requires permission before distribution.
Warez - is not allowed. This is not a forum on software piracy. This includes ‘keygens’ and 'cracks', how to obtain or install them.

so i guess this means no talking about mp3s then, huh?

LOL :D

Talking MP3s is fine - you can own mp3s ;)

you cant own MTV so it must be in breach of copyright
:(

:p

ahh so i see...

now, can you "own" an mp3 that you downloaded off the internet, or can you only "own" an mp3 if you made it as a "back-up" of some of your audio CDs? but wait, since i didn't actually record the performer performing, how can i own the recording of it, digitally or otherwise?

i see where this is going, though...since i didn't actually videotape or visually record a performer performing in a video setting, i therefore, cannot own the video, even if i downloaded it off the internet.

all this legalese is so confuddling :)

Too true

the last thing we want is the site getting in trouble

this kind of stuff is being seriously clamped down on

better to be cautious :)

;)

How can you stress Do not post copyrighted material when he didn't post anything? He asked a question. I could understand if someone posted something. Makes me not want to ask any questions now. :|

BTW, you can download from here. I don't how their policy works, so you might want to find out.

It depends on how you interpet his question. Is he looking to D/L anything that may be copywrited or things that are permitted by MTV.
His question was, he is looking for an APP. Seems like he didn't need an APP. Hence the Warning, the wording in his question was not clear. Now all is clear.

And since you can just go the MTV.com there is no problem. :D

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
