Yeh ive downloaded heaps of themes for XP, and they contain these file types .. how do i use them?

you need to get a copy of 'style XP' (www.tgtsoft.com) or the hacked uxtheme.dll which is available from the same site to use the visual styles you have downloaded.

The difference between using Style XP and the dll file is that the 1st is a standalone program which is shareware (30 day trial), but if you use the dll file you can change between your themes using the display properties.
