MSPaint not saving as JPG or anything

Anyone know why when I put a picture into mspaint and want to save it, I don't get the option for GIF or JPG or anything else, just BMP?

i just looked on my Paint and i could save as bmp, jpg, gif, tiff, png. Im using Xp pro. The big question is tho, WHY are u using paint, gah its horrible

Work I only use paint because I do not have my own distribution of Photoshop 7 there... however, at home, I use Photoshop 7.

ahh ic. Well as i said i do have access to those formats that i posted above. Apart from that i havent got a clue im affraid. sorry

errr... I haven't used paint in so long... must have been the older versions of Paint that didn't support anything but BMP. I stand corrected

Why dont you try the imaging app; that microsoft throws in with windows

1 type of fix (don't ask how or why) was to clean out the temp folders. (not intenet files)
