This isn't new or restricted to XP. I have gotten that warning a few times before on 98. Would you rather they just log you off without warning?

heh... thats been standard since V. 3.6 they tell you just b4 maintanence...

the pop ups work in a similar way to how u get an Instant Message... they send some of that red stuff down the optical fibre...
