MSconfig

Hey everyone, i was thinking something, is there something like MSconfig in win2k? somewhere where you can disable apps from starting at startup?

the appllication needs to be downloaded from the microsoft website in some of the builds

Seems you can use msconfig from XP.

Yep you can use the MSConfig file from XP on 2k as I've done it. I would just copy it from XP to 2k that way you still have it in XP

The path for XP is:
C:\WINDOWS\PCHEALTH\HELPCTR\Binaries\msconfig.exe
Don't know about 2000 tho'.

In 2000 you will need to put it in C:\WINNT so you can use it from the run command
