MS Word 2003 freezes when printing

I have a user and when she tries to print a .doc file from a specific folder on the network to her desktop printer it will print a few files fine from that folder but on 3rd of 4th it will just shoot up to 100% CPU usage and word will free and everything else will work slowly (obviously).

I have updated printer drivers, checked the spooling service, there is no viruses on the PC and it only happens to files in one specific network share and it's driving me nuts! I am this close to giving up and giving her a fresh PC...

I forgot to mention that this is a local printer.
The server is in the same physical location and the same subnet as the user's PC.

What is the process that is taking 100% CPU usage when this occurs?
