Freenet is eventually gonna go down... They will not keep such a chaotic environment opened no mater what "free speech" means. Free speech is fine as long as you don't break the law. Kid porn and Terrosism is obviously not legal, so if that freenet thing is filled with that kind of stuff, I don't expect it to stay alive much longer.

Except unless you force people to run monitoring software/hardware there is no way to stop it really. It is designed as anonymous and has been around for years now.

*edit* - As anything can be abused so is FreeNet. I guess you would have to look at the philosophy behind FreeNet. Although it can be taken to the extreme it's really in line with what Bush says he wants from the world.
