Mozilla Starter Guide

Got it.
  • Open IE
  • File >> Import and Export
  • select export Favorites
  • click next
  • Choose a folder (desktop's easiest)
  • You should now have a bookmark.htm file created
  • Open Mozilla
  • click Bookmarks >> Manage bookmarks (or press CTRL+B)
  • Click Tools >> Import in the new window
  • Navigate to the file you created with IE and open it
  • Voilla \o/

No problem. As you asked this in the chan last night i'll post it here to, as it's relevant.

To get Mozilla to use your default mail client when clicking mailto links such as this one, instead of the Mozilla mail client you need to either uninstall Mozilla, then re-install using Browser Only (Mail/News not installed).

Or
  • Close Mozilla
  • browse to "C:\Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\Mozilla\Profiles\default\random-name.slt\"
  • open prefs.js with notepad/wordpad/your text editor
  • add the folloing line :
    user_pref("network.protocol-handler.external.mailto", true);
  • Save the file (prefs.js)
  • Re-open Mozilla
  • If alls gone well mailto: links will now open with your default mail client.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
