I have just purchased a digi camera, all is well except I have loaded software on the wrong partition on my hard drive.I have 40 gig split in 2 partitions, one at 10 and one at 30.I try to keep os (XP Pro)on 10gig and every thing else on the other. Is it poss to move software application from smaller partition to the larger partition without having to purchase partition majic etc?

Cheers
Mick.

I doubt it. And I don't think that you would be able to move it using something like Partition Magic either. Why not just uninstall it from the XP Pro partition and then install it on the 30 gig partition?

edit: Oh, and welcome to NTFS :)

yep thats the best thing to do, just uninstall and then re-install. Partitoin magic is only for moving whole partitions around...

Ep, glad to see you come back and tidy up...did want to ask a one day favor, I want to enhance my resume , was hoping you could make me administrator for a day, if so, take me right off since I won't be here to do anything, and don't know the slightest about the board, but it would be nice putting "served administrator osnn", if can do, THANKS
