[Movie Review] Tropic Thunder

There have been some really disappointing comedies this summer. Step Brothers was funny but I felt dirty laughing. Pineapple Express was funny but dumb. I'm happy to report that Tropic Thunder takes all the funny of those two and very few of their flaws. The movie is consistently funny and at times hilarious to the point of tears. It opens with fake trailers for films that each of mega stars are involved in. The trailers are funnier than most movies and better done that some real trailers. From there it gets better and better. The acting is surprisingly well done, and it has some truly brilliant cameos.

4/5 OSNN Stars.

Best comedy of the year.
