Hi There...
I've been having this problem for some time now - whenever I reboot my machine, the scroll wheel stops working. I have to go into my mouse settings, alter something to do with the scroll wheel, and save it again, and then everything is OK.
At first I thought it was mouse specific, but I've now the following mice;
Logitech Cordless Optical mouse
Logitech bog standard PS2 mouse
Chieftec Cordless mouse
It's not just limited by my system either - I've got two PCs, and I see the problem on both of them.
Just in case it helps anyone, my keyboard (Logitech cordless one) has a scoll button which works flawlessly upon each reboot.
Does anyone know what the problem can be? I put it down to my Logitech mouse, but after speaking to support, and then discovering the problem with the Chieftec mouse too, I wouldn't know where to start!
Anyone have any ideas?
Bablos.
