Mouse problems

My mouse is becoming uncontrolable. I have a MS intelipoint optical. When i go into control/mouse to set the double clicking of my mouse i tried both fast and slow for the double clicking button. I test them ind it works fine but when i try to etc.. go back one page clicking the back button in ie it takes me 3 to 4 pages back and the same with forward. Its not only in ie its Outlook and other progs. Its starting to get annoying any help would be greatfull.

Another question why does my envelope in front of this thread,not look like the others in other threads it apears to have a hole through it and i havent seen anyone elses threads lok that way.

The whole, or balck dot will appear on posts that you have started or replied to
