mouse problems with Quake 3

When I'm playing off-line at Q3, my mouse move with a long late.
I've this problem with the Q3 demo and Q3 full game, but only with Win XP.
My config :
PIII 500, 128 Mo
Ati rage Fury pro 32Mo,
mouse : 3 buttons, logitech, on serial port
Is there a patch for it ?
