Mouse problem in xp games etc.

My mouse, an optical cordless mouseman from logitech aint working so well...
Its the wheel. When you try to chang weapons etc. in games it dosent work. It works fine when i scroll webpages and documents but it wont chang the weapon in games (or zoom or what i have set it to)
Anyone knows what to do?

i have the exact same problem.. escpacially with q3. i found that if u dont install the drivers its perfect. ( you lose the 4th button, the side one ) but it works. just leave the default XP drivers and ull be fine

ohh man

this might be difficult to explain but in you mouse control panel, theres an option for like howmany lines your wheel will scroll. i think the right setting is 1 page if not youll have to trial and error, but i had that same prob in ut. and i fixed it there....
