Is it possible to add local weather, or tv listings, or stocks onto an active desktop how could i go about doing that

coolmon is a program that displays all sorts of system stats and other stats on your desktop as text. i know there is a weather and tv listings script for it.

give it a look here and look through the extentions bit of the site. the forum is also very helpful.
