so anything that is 1080p and beyond is then considered to be HD or Full HD...correct?

I don't like the term Full HD, if it's HD its HD, it was more of an advertisement tactic.

But yes, anything with those resolutions and above are HD.

Now thats where you get into 720p and 1080p and ****, where 720p is actually a smaller resolution, basically if you get a 24" monitor or TV today, its probably HD and will do a good enough job. No worries.

"Full HD" is somewhat confusing when I used it and I shouldn't have said it but my monitor is HDCP compliant and for all intents and purposes it handles HD content just perfectly. I just can't bump up resolution to native HD resolution (1920x1080).

As far as HDTVs there's always the fun discussion about 720p and 1080p. Until you get into the upper 30 inch range the TVs tend to all be 720p and not full 1080p. Is there a noticeable difference? For the size not really but 720p isn't 1080p.

you can get away with a 1080i TV you'll never tell the difference. Anyone who says they do is talking out their backside.
