Monitor blips

I don't know how else to describe this, but every so often I get blips on my monitor. Something like electric clicks, where there is a quick click on the screen. It happens two or three times an hour. Is this likely to be a Monitor problem or a computer problem?

It could be yor monitor, but unlikely. Mine blips when I park my mobile phone near it. It also blips when my DVD player (on the same desk) kicks in. You could have a dirty power supply. Lots of reasons, but the answer should be quite simple......look for the obvious.

I've seen this happen when nearby computers in a computer room reboot or use Degause. So it could be "dirt" in your power line.

Thanks for the replies. I connected my monitor to another computer, and it appeared to work fine. I'll keep investigating the problem, but at least now I know which direction to look in.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
