missing password pop up window

My dad is running xp pro and when he signs into a site with a password, he doesn't get the pop up window "would you like windows to remember password" I don't remember anyone with this problem,google only has dial up stuff mostly

One of the settings under advanced can tell windows not to offer to remember passwords. Unfortunately I forget where that option was...

I'll edit this post if I find it.

Just incase anyone else needs it,

In Ie
Go to Tools\Internet Options\Content\AutoComplete
Then check Prompt Me to Save Passwords
Next time you enter a password into a site that box will pop up

There are some sites where it will not work though.
