Missing Drives (CDROMS)

Just turn on pc to find out that my 2 cd drives are missing......one is a cdrw the other a standard cdrom........last night both were there..........the only thing new was pinnacle studio dv and i just uninstall it to see if that was the problem but not they still missing....i have nero and clone cd, both were there since i reformat the pc and were workin ok, any ideas???

when the pc boots it shows them so the bios know they are there i even open the case to check if cables were loose

i get this error on the device manager:

Windows successfully loaded the device driver for this hardware but cannot find the hardware device. (Code 41)

Here's what microsoft has to says about this error.

They recommend reinstalling the devices.

after lookin for answers i just did a restore, everything is back to normal.....for now
