Minimize / Maximize

For some reason the Minimize / Maximize effect has gone.

Instead, if I restore a window from the taskbar, it just pops up without the normal restore/minimize animation.

How do I bring it back?

I tried Properties -> Appearance -> Effects.

I haven't done any visual customising either 😕

In Properties>Appearance>Effects, do you have "Fade Effect" enabled?

The Fade effect checkbox was not checked, it was just filled in green but I clicked on it twice and now it is checked and the effect is back 😛

I wonder how the setting changed 😕

Nope and I tried anti-spyware programs like Ad-Aware and got rid of all the spyware stuff and the problem still exists 🙁
