Minimize Closed App to Tray

Is there a registry key value that I can add to an applications registry "preferences" key, that would minimize the application to the tray when the window is closed/exited.

This app doesn't have it as an option, is there a standard dword key/value?

not a registry key but a program. i thought it was actual title windows that could do that
