I was just sitting and looking through the great free software thread and I stumbled upon Clipomatic. Well when I saw the website it was on I realized that Mike Lin could be tthe best person to ever develop freeware. StartupMOnitor and StartupCPL I think are the two best programs on my computer and keep my computer safer than just the antivirus or firewall. YOu can monitor everything and those awful things that try to get started don't because it warns you and if one thing slips by you you just use startupCPL and clear it out...he is just great!

I agree, I love StartupCPL. I once had a virus that wouldnt let me open regedit, msconfig or taskmanager. With the help of StartupCPL I was able to see what got started with the comp and was able to remove the crappy virus.

I also use RegSvrEx which makes registering ActiveX DLLs and OCXs much much easier.
