Hi guys ...

Have a question here .. I uses Microsoft Outlook to send and receive my e-mails. However, I find that if I send out a mail which contains an attachment (irregardless of what type of files), the receiver of the intended e-mail will not get the actual attachment. Instead, the mail would consist of an attachment which underlines as winmail.dat.

Any idea please? thanks!

If I understand it correctly, you send (for example) a file called readthis.doc and the receiptant gets a file called winmail.dat? I have searched the MS Knowledgebase for this problem and I found a solution: KB 278061.

Glaanieboy .. many many thanks!! : )

I'd really appreciate your help in helping me search it out. I haven't the slightest clue what keywords to use in searching for this though but you've helped me out for now. I will try it out .. THANKS again. : P)

Cheers mate ..

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
