I have MS messenger running twice, any ideas how to fix this?
Or remove messenger completely , so I can re install it?

There are quite a few threads around the board on how to completely remove messenger, but my question is why not just kill the extra instance of the app? you can always check your startup group or goto msconfig to remove the extra instance of the app from auto loading and that would probably be easier then just removing and starting over :)

removing Messenger creates some problems, I think.

Well, that's what Lonman said, or something. ;)

But i use Messenger, so I wouldn't know

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
